I received a Master’s of Family Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and became certified in Attachment-Based Family Therapy from the Center for Family Intervention Science at Drexel University. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
I like to work from a emotion-focused, attachment-based approach, helping people to understand what they are feeling, why their emotions serve them or not, and how they can move forward with their lives in a healthier, more mindful way. I value the multicultural and racial impacts on people’s lives and take that into consideration as a foundational part of my practice.
I enjoy being part of a team at Unity Care that takes the whole person into consideration. I believe therapy is most effective when people feel like they are supported, understood and connected to themselves and their community.
