I received both my BS degree in nursing and my MN degree in psychosocial nursing from the University of Washington School of Nursing. I am certified in adult psychiatry and mental health nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I have over 20 years’ experience working in a rural area of Eastern Washington as a psychiatric nurse practitioner–6 years for the Northeast Washington Regional Support Network, and the last 12 years at Northeast Washington Alliance Counseling Services. Prior to receiving my masters’ degree, I obtained 10 years’ experience in nursing, including positions as a psychiatric nurse, a psychosocial nurse, and a case manager. I started working at Unity Care NW in 2013.
