After completing a Master of Science degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) from Utah State University, Nancy’s working life was management in non-profit healthcare. Organizations included Lewis County Public Hospital District in Morton, WA; two clinics for Planned Parenthood of Western Washington (Lakewood and Olympia), and a Federally Qualified Health Center for Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center (McMinnville, OR). Along the way she earned a second Master of Science Health Administration from the University of Colorado Executive Program and several certificates including Primary Integrated Care from Fairleigh University via George Fox University (Newberg, OR).
Retired to Blaine in 2021, Nancy has rediscovered a passion for growing flowers and vegetables and all things quilting. She is a patient in medical, dental, lab and pharmacy through the Unity Care clinics; and is 5 years post treatment for breast cancer, which was skillfully managed by a team of Unity providers.
Nancy was elected to the Board in 2026.
