Organizational Unit: Dental Providers

Mason Cooper, DMD

I joined Unity Care NW in November 2021.

I received my bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition from Arizona State University in 2005, and my DMD from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in 2010. I earned a Certificate in Public Health Concepts from A.T. Still University, a university that focuses solely on community health and clinical dentistry.  I had my own practice in Blaine for 10 years but left it to pursue a career serving those in greater need of oral health care services.

I enjoy using my skills to help members of our community who wouldn’t otherwise have access to dental care.

My hobbies include snowboarding, playing drums, cooking, gardening, and backpacking.

Adam Drews, DMD

I joined UCNW in May of 2020.

After completing my undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, I received my Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Illinois. Following a cross country road trip, I completed a residency in general dentistry through NYU Langone at Healthpoint CHC. I have experience in private practice and community health environments, working with patients from various backgrounds and cultures.

What I enjoy most about community health is educating and impacting vulnerable populations in the community, and expanding access to care to everyone. In my free time I enjoy playing hockey, pursuing new hobbies, and keeping up with my beloved Detroit sports teams.

I have worked in community health dentistry for over 25 years. I enjoy providing quality dentistry to people in our community.
