Rachel Herman joined Unity Care NW in 2019, bringing more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience with her. Known for her practical, collaborative approach, Rachel is passionate about developing strong leaders and improving how healthcare systems work. Her leadership has guided our medical operations through the COVID-19 pandemic and the organization’s transition to the Epic electronic health record system. Before joining Unity Care NW, she led multi-site clinical operations and founded a state-certified outpatient treatment center for adolescents. Rachel studied Healthcare Administration at Western Governors University.
Rachel values the role community health centers play in bringing essential services together and reducing barriers to care. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy scuba diving, hiking, backpacking, and road-trip adventures with their two dogs.
