On-Site Pharmacy Services

Unity Care NW offers our patients the convenience of on-site pharmacy services. Our pharmacy staff works closely with your care team to make filling your prescriptions safer and easier.

With strong communication and coordination between our pharmacy and care teams, we can help you avoid harmful side effects of some medications and manage your medication refills. When you fill prescriptions at our pharmacy, revenue is returned to our non-profit health center to expand and improve services and provide quality, affordable care to our community.

Refill Requests

Are you a Bellingham pharmacy patient? You can request a Unity Care NW pharmacy prescription refill online by clicking here. If you are a North Whatcom Health Center pharmacy patient, you can request your refill online here.

These website are only for use at Unity Care NW’s pharmacy locations. If you have a prescription with another pharmacy, please contact that pharmacy directly to renew your prescriptions.  You can also call the pharmacy directly for refill requests.

If you use an outside pharmacy, please call your pharmacy to request your refills at least three business days before you are out of medication. Please do not call or come in to Unity Care NW for your refill. If your prescription has expired or there are any concerns about the refill, the pharmacy will notify Unity Care NW. Please do not call the pharmacy more than once for the same refill — this will slow down the process.

Return Your Unused Medication

Don’t toss it. Don’t flush it. Don’t save it. Keep your family, our community, and our waters safe. Dispose of your family’s medications by returning them in the original packaging to our pharmacy. Look for the Secure Medication Return box located in our pharmacies. Simply drop your unused medications in the box. Remove all personally identifying information from the containers before depositing them in the box.

Pain Management Policy

Unity Care NW clinical providers do not specialize in pain management. We do not routinely prescribe narcotics or controlled substances. Our Behavioral Health program offers alternative approaches to chronic pain management, including yoga, Qi-gong, and acupuncture, to avoid reliance on prescription pain medications.
