Health Insurance Enrollment

Unity Care NW offers free, unbiased insurance enrollment help.  Our trained, certified Insurance Enrollment Specialists can help you:

  • Apply for or renew your health insurance
  • Apply for or change Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D plans
  • Apply for our Sliding Fee Discount Program
  • Answer questions about Apple Health (Medicaid), Qualified Health Plans (QHPs) through the Health Benefits Exchange, and Medicare

You can also explore plans and renew coverage online on Washington HealthPlanFinder and medicare.gov.

Apple Health Renewals

If you are covered by Apple Health (Medicaid), you must renew your coverage every year.

  • You will receive a letter in the mail about a month before your due date.
  • Coverage will end if you do not complete the renewal on time and remain eligible.

Sliding Fee Discount Program

We also offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program that lowers the cost of care based on your household size and income.

Medicare Help

If you are an Unity Care NW patient or plan to become one, our Insurance Enrollment Specialists can also help you review Medicare plans. Choosing the right Medicare coverage can be confusing, and we are here to make the process easier.

We can:

  • Explain the basics of Medicare, including Parts A, B, C, and D
  • Review plan options  that fit your health needs and budget
  • Answer questions and connect you to Medicare resources
  • Help enroll in Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D plans.
  • Help you apply to state programs that may reduce your Medicare costs.
